Job Opening:Bookkeeper & Office Manager

This role is responsible for the full cycle of accounting including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliation, payroll, taxes, and customer/vendor invoices.

Summary:

You will be responsible for processing the full cycle of accounting, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, payroll, taxes, customer and vendor invoices and knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus.

 

In addition, you will be responsible for administrative duties which include answering phones, greeting clients, employee paperwork, making files electronic and available for all, and other necessary duties assigned by the owner.

Essential Functions & Qualifications

  • Four (4) plus years of extensive bookkeeping experience working with yearly revenues.

  • Verifiable expertise with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Products (Word and Excel) is required.

  • Excellent QuickBooks skills required.

  • Engineering / Construction Industry experience is desirable.

  • Payroll, Payroll Taxes, AP/AR, billing, and collection experience required.

  • Having experience handling Human Resources and Benefit manners is a plus.

  • Capable of preparing Financials but also providing Financial Analysis.

  • Dealing with Complexity.

  • Thoroughness with Attention to Detail.

  • Discretion and Confidentiality.

  • Experience in working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas.

  • Experience with reconciliations.

  • Experience with administrative and clerical duties.

  • Team player who works well with others.

  • Can Do Attitude: Positive, Helpful and Energetic.

  • Communicates explicitly and specifically.

  • Strong Character with Enthusiasm and a Sense of Urgency.

  • Always Punctual, Ambitious, and unafraid of deadlines.

  • Solid work history showing progressive reliability and conscientiousness.
